Short & sweet: Handles great, perfect fit in my hand, my wife's hand, etc. Very compact, and still a powerhouse. Keyless chuck: Solid, and very easy to manipulate. The 15-minute charge? No joke. LED light: More handy than I originally would have thought. Good flashlight in a pinch, as when the electricity is off in a dark work area. Battery life? Suffice to say that it isn't an issue given the pair of batts and fast charger. Durable: It's been dropped ...more

Thought this might be a good replacement...IT IS DYNAMITE!! Has great power and IS LIGHT AS A FEATHER! Charges in minutes with fabulous quick charger. My wife couldn't use the Dewalt....way too heavy. This is easy for women who aren't weightlifers to use! Can't go wrong! ...more

The driver came with two fully charged batteries, and in great condition for a factory reconditioned product. It is light and powerful, and the LED worklight is a nice addition. The compact size is very handy when working in tight quarters. The chuck covering is a little soft, and it got very scuffed up and is rough from doing some close work to a screw head. At least it looks used, now. The case is cheap and clunky, but I will be using a tool bag for storage and transportation. ...more

Overall these tools all have performed well, however buying the full set is not necessarily as cost-effective as may seem at first. Overall battery life for the less demanding applications seems good. I have not used some of the more demanding tools extensively so cannot comment on the battery life for those. I received them in record time, everything was just as ordered. If you very want to have the most powerful and the greatest number of DeWALT power tools this is the set to get. This is a great set of tools but I didn't read the fine print and was surprised that the impact driver was a small, pretty much useless, 1/4" driver. I had to purchase the 1/2" driver separately but the good news is it came with 2 more batteries and another charger. I ordered these Dewalt tools to replace a set of Ryobi 14 volt tools. These Dewalt tools are very high quality with lots of battery life, you can't go wrong with Dewalt. ...more

I have not used it very much yet and it may be that I am just not used to it. But to me it seems like the driver part is too fast. My older Ryobi unit seemed to be slower, but it stayed in the heads of screws better. With the Milwaukee 2601-22 I found myself stripping the heads off the screws because of the speed and I did have it set on speed 1 which is for the driver not the drill. If I predrilled the holes for the screws it worked fine though. ...more

I love this tool, but wish I could return it. It's not defective, but Milwaukee definitely misleads you about warranty and compatibility. The tool carries a 5 year warranty, and they have 5 year warranties on their 18V LI batteries... but not on THESE 18V LI batteries. THIS tool (and all compact 18V tools) has only a 2 year battery warranty, which is NOT mentioned on the box (where the 5 year warranty is prominent). In fact, the battery/charger manual which ...more

I graduated from Milwaukee's 14.4v, and this is more compact for getting into tight spots, lighter and more powerful. The added features of a built-in light and belt clip are great! The battery power level indicator is great for planning ahead for charging needs. The little bit holder could be placed a bit further inboard though, as the one of the bits can catch on clothes, etc. and fall out. ...more
