After being involved in maintenance for more than 25 yrs and reading some of the reviews, I was concerned. From start to finish it took about 1.5 hrs ( I had a helper while lifting the top on and off). I had no line up problems and I thought the written instruction were right on the mark if you followed them in the order which they were written. The instructions are skimpy but installing this item isn't a real hard to understand operation. I STRONGLY recommend having a helper before proceeding. I managed to fit everything together by myself but it was a real struggle. Wheel alignment was perfect with the riser in place so it seems the manufacturing defects I've seen mentioned in other reviews have been corrected. [3] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-12-18 Summary: A Worthy Upgrade ... I bought the riser block along with the band saw. I assembled the band saw one day, and the riser block the next. After doing it this way, I'm not sure there was any advantage to be gain by trying to install the riser block at the same time as the general saw assembly. (In other words, I think I did the right thing is doing it the way I did.) All the parts for the riser block were in the box including the necessary larger 105" blade.
