I work at a dealership where we may see 70 cars a day (varies by economy and weather). And I must say this has been the wisest choice I've made in a while. Power is a 9.0, battery life (in comparison to other models) is a 10.0. (The reason I didn't give the Power a 10 is because I know the more expensive model does pack a heathier punch.) The one drawback is it only accepts hex drill bits as it does close down on the round bits. With the number of hex drill bits it isn't a real problem. I finally decided I had nothing to lose by taking the drill apart. After clamping the broken end of the chuck in a vise, I was able to apply enough force to the gear to unscrew the shaft from the chuck. A new replacement chuck screws back on the same way. I have not really asked it to do heavy-duty remodeling or contractor-level work, but in comparison to a Craftsman, it is holding up *much* better. Bearing and gear noise are about the same as when new. (whereas the Craftsman is obviously galling its bearings).
