I've made about 80 cuts of treated 4x4, 100's of cuts of 2x10 and 2x12 (cutting half way through and then flipping the board over to finish the cut), and hundreds of 2x4's. I've even cut a few pieces of cured oak firewood when my first blade got tired. As long as you use the right cutting speed, this engine will power through anything. They are light weight and easy to lug around. They both have enough power to do most tasks that you will encounter at a job site and enough accuracy too. Stock blade is almost good enough for finish work. The dual bevel adjustment seems a little haphazard. The dust bag is junk but does a decent job collecting roughly 2/3 the dust. Everything else seems fine to me. Nice miter controls. I agree that a "D" handle would have been much more comfortable.
