This is my first drill press and for a sub $200 drill press it appears to be the best in breed in terms of features and quality. Assembling the drill was straight forward and the instructions were clear. The laser alignment was a little tricky and I ended up adjusting it by hand rather than using the method described in the manual. Once set, it was good. This Delta branded vises is probably also made overseas but with Delta QC it is a nice little vise. The quick release is weighted and lets you push the jaw and snug it up with a half twist. I added a couple small hardwood jaw blocks held with #6 screws from behind and it is good to go. The other commenters giving bad reviews for the mounting holes not lining up don't make sense to me. Despite the complaints of the vise not fitting their drill press, I took into consideration the positive reviews also. I am one to make things work and did so by mounting the vise with two carraige bolts and wing nuts at diagonal to the table slots of my Delta DP300L.
